What you discuss in our sessions is strictly confidential which means what you say will not leave the room unless issues of risk arise. If for example you tell me that you are at risk of hurting yourself or someone else or if a child is being hurt then I am obliged legally to break confidentiality and speak to other professionals. If I need to break confidentiality, then I would aim to discuss this with you first.
